We hope you enjoy this limited-edition shadowbox featuring authentic wallpaper recovered from the Missouri Governor’s Mansion during the 2019 renovation. This one-of-a-kind collection commemorates the impressive history of the Mansion, built in 1871 as we celebrate the bicentennial of our great state, established in 1821. The red wallpaper covered a room in the second floor living quarters while the teal wallpaper adorned the third-floor ballroom.
Governor Mike Parson, the 57th Governor of the state of Missouri, and First Lady Teresa Parson are committed to preserving the People’s House for generations to come. Proceeds from the wallpaper art benefit preservation efforts at the Mansion.
